Dubai: Stargazers living in the United Arab Emirates will enjoy a rare celestial treat next month (December 2019), in a first since 1847.
They will witness the annular eclipse of the sun which will happen on December 26. The celestial phenomena will be visible in different areas across the UAE.
On the Thursday morning, the sun will rise, with the annular eclipse starting at 7am. Last time, such a solar eclipse took place in UAE in 1847.
The annular phase of this solar eclipse is not visible in Manama, but it can be observed here as a partial solar eclipse.
