Excitement is building ahead of the arrival of American singer-songwriter Christina Milian, who is set to perform at Bushido’s sixth anniversary celebrations later this month.
On May 29, the Grammy nominated RnB performer will take to the stage along with music producer DJ Ravin and DJ Carlos Campos.
Christina Milian is best known for her top singles Dip It Low and AM to PM and most recently her role as a media correspondent on US television show The Voice.
She also boasts many more accomplishments not only as an entrepreneur, but also as co-writer on Jennifer Lopez’s single Play and Justin Bieber’s massive pop track Baby.
DJ Ravin is the mastermind behind the Buddha Bar compilation albums and imprinted his unique fusion style on several compilations released by George V Records including the Bahrain Bushido compilation album Geisha, released in 2013.
Resident DJ of Barrio Latino in Paris, DJ Carlos Campos just celebrated the launch of his new album Barrio Latino Island with a performance at Bushido in Bahrain.
His style is energetic and sensual, mixing electronic beats with African and Latino melodies.
In addition to the performance on May 29, Christina Milian will also be making an appearance at Haute Cupcakes in Seef where guests will have the opportunity to win a pair of pink Kandee heels, courtesy of Saks Fifth Avenue.
Meanwhile, on Sunday Bushido will host The Buns in partnership with Make Music Bahrain and Alliance Francaise.
The evening, which begins at 8pm, features French female rock duo The Buns.
Members Julie Gomel and Emilie Rambaud met on tour in 2010 and formed the group as a result of their passion for rock.
Their current tour follows the release of their first EP The True Story of Molly Jin and June Cooper.
