Riyadh : A Sudanese mother living in Saudi Arabia gave birth to three girls and two boys, becoming part of a rare club of women who have had quintuplets.
A medical team led by Dr. Sami Musadiya conducted a caesarean section (C-section) to help the pregnant woman deliver the rare quintuplets which have entered the annals of Tarif public hospital.
Health director and hospital supervisor Fayez Sarhan Al-Ruweili said that the mother is in a stable condition.
The mother and her five newborn babies will be under close medical observation at the hospital to avert any health complications, according to a report in Sabq.
