Riyadh: A Saudi businessman has reportedly been kidnapped on a desert highway in Egypt.
The Egyptian media said that the Saudi investor was kidnapped early Tuesday morning at Kilometre 76 on the highway linking Cairo and Ismailiya.
ONTV Channel quoted a security source saying that criminal security authorities have launched a manhunt, reported Arabic daily Al-Watan.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
