Ministries, government departments and public establishments will close on Saturday and Sunday marking the Ashoora anniversary.
Monday will also be a public holiday in lieu of Saturday, already a day-off.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, issued an edict in this regard.
