MANAMA: Members of the Council of Commissioners at the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) visited the Reform and Rehabilitation Centre in Jaw yesterday, the second day in a row, and were reassured that inmates are enjoying the freedom to practise their religious rituals during Ashoora.
They met a number of prisoners who confirmed that the centre’s management was co-operative easing procedures for them to practise their rites, NIHR tweeted yesterday.
