Muscat: Oman has called on patients who have recovered from Covid-19 to donate their blood plasma to help those who are still suffering from the disease.
“DBBS Oman invites those who have recovered from COVID-19 infection to volunteer to donate plasma to help COVID-19 patients,” the Healthy Ministry's department of blood banks services (DBBS) said in a statement.
The country's Royal Hospital also put out a request asking people to donate blood to help those battling the coronavirus.
“If you meet the criteria of donating, don’t hesitate to book an appointment,” said the hospital. “One unit could save three patients.”
