Riyadh: Jeddah-based Al-Ahli won the Saudi King’s Cup after beating Al-Nasr 2-1 in the final match, held at the King Abdulla bin Abdulaziz Sport City Stadium in Jeddah.
Al-Ahli top scorer Omar Al-Souma netted the first goal in the 24th minute before Ahmed Al-Faridi equalized for Al-Nasr in 61st minute.
Omar Al-Souma sealed the final victory for Al-Ahli scoring the second goal in the 115th minute into the match after the two teams drew 1-1 in regular time.
Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud presented Al-Ahli with the trophy and gold medals.
Al-Ahli has already won the Abdullatif Jameel Football League Championship this year.
