BAHRAIN has witnessed an unprecedented surge in Covid-19 infections with the country recording the highest number of cases per million people among the GCC nations from February 1 until Thursday.The latest findings of an online scientific publication, Our World in Data, was based on inputs from US Covid-19 Data Repository by the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University .
