A MAN has been jailed for three months for assaulting a car cleaner.
The Bahraini, aged in his 50s, was arrested after a video footage of the incident went viral on social media.
The man was seen arguing with the Asian worker before slapping him. The victim collapsed as the assailant walked away.
The Bahraini appeared at Lower Criminal Court where he admitted to attacking his employee.
“The defendant was found guilty of the charges due to sufficient evidence against him,” the court said in its ruling.
“A video footage of the attack was presented as evidence.
“The victim identified his attacker in court.
“He also said he was subjected to psychological and physical abuse by his employer.”
