The Kuwaiti Cabinet of Ministers announced on Monday that the state will have a nine-day holiday for the upcoming Eid Al-Adha, starting on July 18.
Though this applies to state and public bodies, many companies in the private sector also choose to abide by the same dates.
Kuwaiti astronomer has confirmed that Eid will fall on July 20, with the Day of Arafat falling on July 19.
55,000 travellers are expected to take their vacations elsewhere during this time, with 442 flights set to be departing.
