The rule effective from tomorrow (Oct 15) are part of the updated protocols announced by the National Taskforce to Combat Covid-19.
However, they will have to undergo the mandatory RT-PCR tests on the first and seventh days from the date of contact with the patients.
Those without a green shield will have to go into a seven-day quarantine, as well as take the mandatory RT-PCR tests on the first and seventh days from the date of contact with the patients.
The taskforce also urged people who may have come in contact with suspected Covid-19 cases or show symptoms to get tested for the virus.
The updates follow national indicators proving the effectiveness of vaccination and the booster dose in raising the body's immune response, added the taskforce.
