Two people have been arrested for allegedly practising witchcraft and sorcery.
A 45-year-old Arab and an Asian, aged 36, were also charged with “indecent acts”, according to the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science.
“An investigation into information received led to identifying and arresting the suspects and confiscating items related to their crimes at their residences,” said the Interior Ministry today.
“Legal procedures have been taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution,” it added.
