THE sixth Bahrain Dental Conference and Exhibition (DLS6 Bahrain) opened at the The Art Hotel in Amwaj yesterday.
The four-day forum is organised by BDA for Conferences and Exhibitions.
It is held in partnership with the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA), the Saudi Dental Society, Saudi Society of Periodontology, Riyadh ELM University, Imam Abdul Rahman Bin Faisal University, and in co-operation with the Kuwait Dental Association, Saudi Society of Paediatric Dentistry and Arabian Academy of Paediatric Dentistry.
“I am happy that we could hold the conference in person,” said NHRA chief executive Dr Maryam Al Jalahma who officially inaugurated the forum.
“The presence of regional exhibitors is promising.”
The first two days of the conference will be held in person at the hotel, while the final two days will be held virtually.
BDA executive director Dr Mohammad Shahda noted that the participation at this year’s conference was encouraging, adding that the DLS6 will feature more than 40 distinguished speakers from Bahrain, the region, and the world.
“We also have workshops as well as a full schedule of lectures, seminars, and scientific debates aimed at dentists, assistants, dental hygienists, and dental technicians, among others.”
