A Toyota Land Cruiser is turning heads in Dubai, but not on the city's dunes this time. It is a model made of 440,000 Lego bricks.
The car is made to mark the launch of a new Land Cruiser in Dubai, where a team of 12 people worked for 2,700 hours to create the Lego copy of the new model.
The vehicle, which weighs 2,050 kilograms, is intended to boost Toyota's brand engagement, and brings a fun element after almost two years of Covid-19 lockdown, managing director of al-Futtaim Toyota, Andy Barratt said.
The car will tour the country for a year, Barratt added. The project is said to be one of the largest Lego models ever made by a Lego certified builder in the UAE.
