Women are set to be celebrated and empowered tomorrow at Al Areen Palace & Spa Bahrain by Accor, through a series of panel discussions by motivational speakers and community leaders from across the kingdom.
The Bahrain Women’s Day celebration is being organised by the resort, in collaboration with Ladies of Bahrain, a social media platform founded by Michelle Rainer in 2019 to connect women and promote sisterhood.
“With many strong women in Bahrain across all industries, we have taken it upon ourselves to celebrate Bahraini Women’s Day by organising a panel that will inspire the new generation while also nurturing female leadership,” said commercial leader of the upcoming Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain, Zeynep Oden Agagil.
The event will feature three panel discussions held throughout the day highlighting business, mental health and female empowerment.
The first panel will focus on the impact of ‘Mental Health in the Workplace’ and will be moderated by Dina Bseisu.
The second panel will focus on ‘Success’ and will be moderated by Hamsa Coaching founder, Hamsa Saeed. The last panel will be about ‘Women Entrepreneurship and Gender Roles’, moderated by president of Zari World Consulting, Zahra Baqer, and will include panellists Turkish ambassador Esin Cakil and president of the Rotary Club and banking executive, Amira Ismail.
“Diversity is, of course, a shared responsibility,” said the property’s GM Marie-Berengere Chapoton, “but it is also the most powerful lever of collective intelligence”.
