PEOPLE have been cautioned against spreading rumours doubting the efficacy of Covid vaccines.
“Rumours and fear mongering spew their poison in society,” BDF Hospital Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiologist consultant Dr Manaf Al Qahtani said in a Twitter post yesterday.
Dr Al Qahtani, who is also a member of the National Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus (Covid-19), called for solidarity in society to combat rumours which aim to destroy morale as well as the basis of all national achievements.
“Whether cases increase or drop we are determined to combat the pandemic. This determination keeps us on this path until the end,” he said.
