MANAMA: The volume of real estate trading reached BD1,046,162,080 last year, an increase of 46 per cent compared to 2020, in which the volume of real estate trading reached BD717,436,872.
The Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB) said in a statement yesterday that this increase is an indicator of a significant growth in real estate trading last year, witnessing an unprecedented number of real estate registration transactions, reaching 26,136 by end of 2021, a 35pc increase over the previous year, which registered 19,405 transactions .
