His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, announced yesterday that imported livestock is to be included in the list of the 94 basic commodities exempt from VAT.
Following HRH Prince Salman’s directives, imported livestock will be added to the list of basic food products exempt from VAT, which includes fresh and frozen beef, lamb, goat, poultry and fish .
