A WARNING has gone out to people who take advantage of free food distribution during the processions season by hoarding excessive quantities of meals from food stalls and ma’atams – only to later dump them.
Northern Municipal Council chairman Dr Sayed Shubbar Al Wedaie has condemned the ‘growing trend’, warning that it would be monitored and offenders may face consequences for causing massive food waste and environmental damage during the religious occasion .
