Saudi has officially announced the opening of the kingdom's largest movie theatre in Riyadh, with 25 screens and a wide range of unique concepts.
The new theatre was unveiled by Saudi's homegrown cinema chain Muvi Cinemas in Riyadh Boulevard City with the premiere of brand-new Hollywood blockbuster 'The Batman', Arab News reported.
“As the largest movie theatre in Saudi Arabia, our customers will experience best-in-class entertainment experiences while enjoying the latest cinematic technologies,” Muvi Cinemas founder and chief executive Sultan Al-Hokair said.
The brand is well-known for its VIP experiences, offering luxury Muvi Suites and its latest concept Muvi Boutiques, in addition to a 4DX screen that promises to give moviegoers an immersive cinematic experience.
Each theatre also has its own theme and each boutique features a different city or popular place such as London, Beverly Hills or a Hollywood-theme.
Organisers have revealed that the cinema is the biggest in the world in terms of the number of seats it offers and although it was only launched in 2019, Muvi Cinemas now has 21 theatres located across the country with a total of 195 screens.
