Riyadh: A fire broke out at the Saudi Television Tower in the City of Riyadh.
No casualties were reported.
The Saudi Civil Defence said on its Twitter account that its units and engines arrived immediately and doused the blaze in time.
The official spokesman of the Ministry of Culture and Information said that the fire broke out in the cellar inside the ministry’s headquarters, without causing any casualties.
The police have launched an inquiry to ascertain the cause of the fire, reported local Arabic daily Al-Jazirah.
