MANAMA: Bahrain Network (BNET), the national telecommunications infrastructure company, yesterday announced the appointment of Donna Williams as chief financial officer (CFO).
The appointment comes as part of BNET’s efforts to secure the most competent market talent to drive the company’s existing and future strategies towards sector excellence.
Ms Williams held several distinguished positions prior to joining BNET, including as group financial controller at British Telecom (BT).
She is a chartered accountant with over 19 years of experience in financial control, business partnering and cash flow management.
Commenting on the appointment, BNET chief executive Ahmed Aldoseri stated: “The appointment of Ms Williams falls in line with our commitment to hire specialised talent that adds value to the company and enhance our performance in order to achieve BNET’s strategic goals.”
Ms Williams said: “It gives me great pleasure to be joining BNET, and I would like to express my sincere gratitude to BNET’s exceptional board of directors and management team for their confidence.
