Oman has announced a 15 per cent reduction in electricity tariffs, applicable on bills from May 1 to August 31.
“The tariff for all consumption slabs will be reduced by 15 per cent for the basic account (two accounts or less) for subscribers of the residential category for the summer months (from May 1 to August 31 of the year 2022), noting that the tariff reduction will not include consumption before May 1, 2022,” the Muscat Electricity Distribution Company said in a statement.
