The National Taskforce for Combating Covid-19 has reiterated its call for all eligible individuals to receive an additional booster shot every nine months to strengthen their immunity against variants of Covid-19 and protect public health.
The task force said that vaccinated individuals aged 12 years and above are eligible for an additional booster shot every nine months.
Individuals with a prior infection are eligible for a booster so long as nine months have elapsed since their last dose and at least six months have elapsed since the date of their infection.
It stressed the importance of wearing a mask both indoors and outdoors in accordance with precautionary guidelines.
