Industry and Commerce Minister Zayed Alzayani affirmed Bahrain’s keenness to create investment opportunities in the conference and exhibition industry and attract international and regional exhibitions to make Bahrain a high standard global exhibition centre.
This came during the opening ceremony of the first Bahraini-Omani perfume exhibition at The Avenues Bahrain, organised by the Zari International Consulting and Exhibitions Company and the Bahraini-Omani Friendship Society.
The event hosts 20 participants from Bahrain, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Kuwait.
While attending the launch ceremony of the Bahraini-Omani Friendship Society, the minister noted the deep historical relations that bind both countries, and their governments’ keenness to maintain and strengthen these ties.
The minister toured the exhibition and listened to a detailed explanation by chief executive of Zari International Consulting and Exhibitions Zahra Baqer about the importance of the three-day exhibition as well as the events held on its sidelines.
He was also briefed on the future project of the Bahrain Virtual Museum, the first of its kind in the world, a project that relies on virtual reality to achieve strategic objectives in various fields in Bahrain, especially education, tourism and e-commerce.
