SIXTEEN distressed Filipino nationals were repatriated to Manila from Bahrain last week.
The group included three detainees and a family with three children, said a Philippines Embassy statement.
All expenses of the repatriation were borne by the embassy through the Assistance-to-Nationals Fund of Manila’s Department of Foreign Affairs.
The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration will offer airport assistance and local transport to the repatriates upon their arrival in Manila.
