THE Pope arrived in Bahrain yesterday aboard a special ITA Airways flight decorated in its recently-launched blue livery.
The Airbus A330 carrying Pope Francis on his maiden and historic visit to Bahrain took off from Rome Fiumicino International Airport and arrived at Sakhir Air Base .
