A RANKED international badminton tournament which will feature hundreds of participants from 30 different countries is set to kick off later this month.
The International Challenge 2022 will take place from November 29 to December 4, hosted by the Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam (BKS).
It is held under the patronage of the Bahrain Badminton and Squash Federation (BBSF) and is sponsored by Al Sharif Group.
According to BKS, it is the world’s fourth highest-level badminton tournament and is sanctioned by the Badminton World Federation.
The free six-day event usually sees a great turnout, with nearly 5,000 spectators expected to attend.
The matches will go on from 10am to 10pm on the first three days, and from 5pm to 10pm on the last three.
