The GCC is ready to negotiate a Free Trade Agreement with the European Union whenever the latter is ready.
GCC Secretary-General Dr Nayef Al Hajraf asserted this in response to European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen's statement last night that the negotiations were stalled and the EU might pursue individual agreements instead.
"We are ready when you are," Dr Al Hajraf said during the fourth plenary session of the Manama Dialogue.
