THE National Cybersecurity Centre (NCSC) took part in the National Audit Office (NAO) second symposium (Audit and Partnership).
The symposium reviewed the importance of cybersecurity, presented by NCSC’s follow-up and education directorate director Aisha bin Haji.
The first day of the symposium targeted the executive level of senior management and officials in the entities covered by NAO.
The symposium highlighted the global landscape of security risks and how to apply best practices in cybersecurity at an institutional level.
The second day held a dialogue session for technicians working in the field of accounting and auditing in the entities covered by NAO.
The session stressed security controls based on global standards, clear action plans based on the size of these risks and measuring the organisation’s ability to protect and recover.
