A SCHOOL principal has been referred to Public Prosecution after being accused of neglect, the Education Ministry revealed in a statement.
According to the ministry, a primary school head, along with an unspecified number of school employees, had allegedly ‘not adequately supervised’ the process of children exiting the campus after the end of the school day.
"In light of the negligence in supervision of students as they left school and not ensuring that all students either got onboard the buses or were picked up by their parents, the principal and some employees have been referred to prosecutors," the statement said. "The ministry's utmost priority is guaranteeing the safety of students."
