Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Nawaf Al Maawda held a meeting with Bahrain Association of Banks (BAB) chairman Adnan Yousif and discussed issues related to the growth of the financial services sector and the enhancement of Bahrain’s standing as an advanced financial centre regionally and internationally.
The minister affirmed the support to use financial mediation in resolving financial and banking disputes, as an efficient and economic means.
Mr Al Maawda referred to the efforts to develop legal services to be more responsive to the requirements of economic sectors, to promote legal specialisation in the field of settling banking and financial disputes and to benefit from modern technology in developing legal work in all its fields.
