New housing services could be introduced to help thousands of families on waiting lists.
The Shura Council is set to vote, during its weekly session on Sunday, on Parliament-proposed amendments to the 1976 Housing Law that would give the Housing and Urban Planning Minister more rights to add new services, as well as introduce new criteria and more facilities specifically for low-income families .
