Bahrain's National Water Strategy could prove to be a model for other countries to follow as they seek to secure an ‘undervalued’ and increasingly scarce resource, according to a top hydrologist.
US-based Arizona State University and Global Futures Professor Dr James Famiglietti highlighted the national strategies being implemented by Bahrain and other GCC countries as potential guides for other regions seeking to unify their efforts to manage the natural resource .
