His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has affirmed the pivotal role of financial and banking institutions and their contributions to the kingdom’s comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad.
HRH Prince Salman was speaking as he met the chairman of corporate and institutional banking of BNP Paribas, Alain Papiasse, at Riffa Palace yesterday.
HRH Prince Salman highlighted the importance of the ongoing efforts to expand the national economy and strengthen the competitiveness of the financial and banking sector to support the kingdom’s development and provide opportunities for citizens.
He highlighted Bahrain’s commitment to adopting initiatives, plans, and priorities that expand the banking and finance sector and increase its competitiveness.
Mr Papiasse praised HRH Prince Salman’s unwavering support for the kingdom’s banking and finance sector.
Present at the meeting were Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.
