On behalf of His Majesty King Hamad, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday attended the Showjumping (International) Kingdom of Bahrain Stakes for The King’s Cup and other competitions in which Bahraini equestrian professionals were among the participants, at the Royal Windsor Horse Show in the UK. It was held in the presence of Prince Edward, the Duke of Edinburgh, and with the participation of international equestrian professionals. HRH Prince Salman highlighted the depth of the strategic Bahrain-UK partnership, which has continued to grow stronger across a span of more than 200 years. He commended the participation of the His Majesty’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and Royal Endurance Team captain Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. HRH Prince Salman also commended the participation of Shaikh Nasser’s children in the endurance race.
