Bahrain’s senior men’s football national team head coach Dragan Talajic has named a 27-player squad for their first two matches in the third round of Asian qualification for the FIFA World Cup 2026.
The list includes Sayed Mohammed Jaafar, Ebrahim Luthfallah, Ammar Mohammed, Waleed Al Hayyam, Sayed Mahdi Baqer, Amine Benaddi, Hamad Shamsan, Vincent Emmanuel, Sayed Dhiya Saeed, Ali Haram, Abdulla Al Khalasi, Hazza Ali, Ahmed Nabeel, Mahdi Humaidan, Sayed Ahmed Al Wadaei, Abbas Al Asfour, Moses Atede, Jassim Al Shaikh, Ali Madan, Abdulwahab Al Malood, Mohammd Jassim Marhoon, Komail Al Aswad, Ahmed Al Sherooqi, Hussain Abdulkarim, Mahdi Abduljabbar, Ismaeel Abdullatif, and Ebrahim Al Khattal.
The Bahrainis are set to open their Group C campaign against Australia away on September 5 and then they host Japan on September 10.
