Bahrain’s space scientists and authorities are exploring opportunities to be part of humanity’s first lunar space station, with a global expert noting that mankind’s ‘road to the moon’ could ‘go through Bahrain’.
During a recent visit to the kingdom, US-based National Aeronautics and Space Administration (Nasa) former associate administrator for space policy and partnerships Mike Gold met top talent and officials at Bahrain’s National Space Science Agency (NSSA), and the Mohamed Bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies (MBMA) to highlight opportunities for the country’s emerging space sector .
