Bapco Tazweed, a subsidiary of the Bapco Energies group, has enhanced the careers of 141 Bahraini employees through professional development programmes offered by the Labour Fund (Tamkeen).
The initiative aligns with the company’s focus on boosting employee productivity and creating clear paths for career advancement within the energy sector.
This support utilises various Tamkeen programmes designed to strengthen employee skills, reward top performers, and enhance the competitiveness of Bahrainis in the private sector, which is a key pillar of Tamkeen’s 2025 strategy.
The move also contributes directly to the stability and growth of the kingdom’s oil and gas sector, which is the second-largest contributor to Bahrain’s gross domestic product (GDP), accounting for 15.2 per cent in the first quarter of the year.
Tamkeen continues to back local enterprises committed to developing national talent, reinforcing the Labour Fund’s objective of making Bahraini citizens the preferred choice for employment across the labour market.
