ESSENTIAL cancer screenings for 125 patients from the Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC) have been provided by Awali Hospital, supported by Bapco Energies.
The initiative brought much-needed relief to many individuals, significantly reducing waiting time for these vital health services.
Following the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Bapco Energies and SMC last year, Awali Hospital has been able to offer timely screenings to 70 colon and 55 breast cancer patients.
“We are dedicated to improving healthcare access and outcomes for our community,” said Awali Hospital’s chief medical officer Dr Tariq Hameed.
“This initiative is a testament to our commitment to providing timely and necessary medical services to those in need.”
