Global industry leaders will convene in Bahrain for the second edition of the Gateway Gulf Investment Forum on Sunday and Monday at the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay.
Hosted by the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB), the forum will bring together top government officials, C-suite executives, and investors to discuss global challenges and opportunities under the theme ‘Investing in a Rapidly Transforming Region.’
The high-level gathering will feature a series of panel discussions, focus meetings, and one-on-one sessions on topics such as investing for resilience, AI’s transformative power, and future-proofing the workforce.
Key speakers from Bahrain include Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Sustainable Development Minister and EDB Chief Executive Noor Al Khulaif, and Tourism Minister Fatima Al Sairafi.
International speakers will include former UK Investment Minister Lord Gerry Grimstone, UAE Minister of Economy Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri and Oracle chief executive Safra Catz.
The GCC region is experiencing significant economic growth, with a projected GDP of $2.1 trillion in 2024. Bahrain, in particular, has diversified its economy and is focusing on sectors such as financial services, ICT, manufacturing, logistics, and tourism.
The Gateway Gulf Forum aims to highlight Bahrain’s role in driving regional collaboration and unlocking sustainable economic growth.
