A US company is making the dreams of disgruntled employees come true by offering to 'scold' their bosses on their behalf.
OCDA, a non-profit company, deploys trained 'scolders' to confront bosses or colleagues who have been the subject of complaints. These professional scolds deliver meticulous and forceful rebukes, adhering to a predetermined script.
After each scolding, OCDA uploads unedited videos of the encounters to its YouTube channel, which has amassed 80,000 subscribers.
Founded by comedian Calimar White, OCDA is even recruiting new 'scolders' with specific requirements.
According to the company's website, "OCDA is committed to elevating workplace standards by empowering individuals to share their genuine grievances. Our mission is to ensure that these issues are presented and treated with the utmost seriousness, promoting a culture of respect and responsiveness. We stand for a proactive approach to problem-solving and employee satisfaction."
In a recent video shared on social media, the agent can be seen confronting Mr. LJ', a boss. When the agent enters Mr. LJ's office, he says, "I've been working for over 17 years, yet you don't give me PTO (paid time off), and you're paying the new hires more than the veterans. The entire inventory is disorganized. There's no fan in the moulding section ..."
Despite the repeated requests to stop, the agent continued with the script. The video has gone viral on the internet with, more than 9.4 million views.
