Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa yesterday visited the Social Services Complex Project in Isa Town to review the progress of the works.
The visit forms part of a series of field visits undertaken by the governor to various sites and projects, aimed at enhancing direct engagement and supporting residents across service, development and social sectors.
Shaikh Khalifa highlighted the governorate’s commitment to field engagement across all areas, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He highlighted the governorate’s commitment to addressing residents’ needs and supporting sustainable development.
Shaikh Khalifa was briefed on the range of services offered by the project and its role in strengthening social protection through the provision of advanced infrastructure, including modern buildings, facilities and services designed to meet the diverse needs of the community.
The governor noted that the project reflects the government’s efforts to deliver comprehensive care to beneficiaries using state-of-the-art solutions following the highest quality standards.
Shaikh Khalifa said that the developmental progress witnessed in the governorate is a result of ongoing co-ordination between the governorate and various state entities.
He also commended the efforts and collaboration of the ministries of Works and Social Development in implementing development projects that address the aspirations of citizens and residents alike.
