The fourth edition of the National Holidays Festival is set to kick off at the Heritage Village in Muharraq today, with a host of diverse activities.
Running until January 4 next year, the festival commemorates National Day, marking the establishment of Bahrain as an Arab Muslim state in 1783 under the founder Ahmed Al Fateh, and the silver jubilee of His Majesty King Hamad’s ascension to the throne.
Information Minister Dr Ramzan Al Nuaimi said this year’s festival promises a unique experience for all.
It will feature a traditional musical performance showcasing Bahraini heritage and culture, performed on weekends and public holidays by renowned artists.
These interactive performances aim to engage audiences and highlight the nation’s cultural identity.
The Heritage Village will welcome visitors daily from 4pm to 11pm, with extended hours until midnight on weekends and public holidays.
