THREE individuals were arrested for allegedly stealing electric equipment worth BD6,500, the Interior Ministry announced in a statement yesterday.
The Criminal Investigation Department of the ministry’s General Directorate of Crime Detection and Forensic Evidence arrested the three suspects, described only as Asian, within two hours of them allegedly stealing wires and a generator from a home.
An investigation was launched as soon as the incident was reported, resulting in the identification and arrest of the individuals.
Necessary legal measures have been taken for the case to be referred to the Public Prosecution.
