Rooftop Packaged Units (RTUs) are self-contained air conditioning systems that integrate all essential components – compressor, condenser, evaporator, and air handler – into a single unit.
These systems can be mounted on rooftops or installed at ground level, providing centralised cooling without occupying valuable indoor space.
In Bahrain, RTUs prove ideal for villas, schools, commercial buildings, warehouses and majlis halls, offering versatile solutions across diverse applications.
The Hisense RTUs are specifically designed for extreme temperature performance, and engineered for uninterrupted cooling in high ambient conditions – essential during Bahrain’s peak summer months, with their intense heat and humidity. The units feature advanced scroll compressor technology with high-efficiency, hermetically sealed compressors that ensure quiet operation, minimal vibration and consistent performance under stress, eliminating disruptive operational noise.
Built to withstand Bahrain’s challenging coastal environment, these units feature corrosion-resistant construction with G90 galvanised steel casing, marine-grade coating and 1,000-hour salt spray resistance, making them suitable for both inland and coastal installations.
Smart control integration offers compatibility with centralised controllers and BMS platforms, with optional Wi-Fi access enabling convenient remote management for modern facilities.
Safety remains paramount with the units offering comprehensive protection systems, including high and low pressure switches, anti-freeze protection, discharge temperature monitoring and current protection.
Environmental responsibility is addressed through R-410A refrigerant, which is non-ozone-depleting with excellent energy efficiency and low global warming potential.
The compact, ducted design provides installation flexibility, allowing placement on rooftops or ground slabs to support both new construction and retrofit applications.
The Hisense range spans four to 30 nominal tonnes, delivering up to 360,000 BTU/h to cover residential, commercial and light industrial requirements.
