A gang that lured and scammed victims by sending fake links and impersonating well-known organisations was arrested recently.
The gang would pose as restaurants and delivery companies, sending links that prompted victims to enter their bank account information.
Dubai police quickly moved in to make the arrests after meticulous planning and tracking of the messages, seizing all equipment used in the crimes.
