The Kingdom of Bahrain successfully intercepted a number of missiles detected in its airspace, the National Communication Centre (NCC) has stated.
The NCC confirmed that the Bahrain Defence Force’s air defence systems intercepted the missiles effectively.
It added that the relevant authorities are closely monitoring developments to ensure the continued protection of the Kingdom’s airspace and to safeguard the security and safety of citizens and residents.
The NCC urged the public to obtain information from official sources and to refrain from circulating rumours or unverified reports, in order to support national security and stability.
