SENIOR Bahraini MPs are spearheading a new legislative push to overhaul the kingdom’s smoking laws by introducing stricter regulations and raising the legal smoking age from 18 to 20.
The aim is to align the proposed reforms with internationally-recognised frameworks such as Japan’s stringent tobacco control system .
